Entry Rising Star and criteria

Companies under five years old can enter the Fast50 competition in the Rising Star category. This category compares companies that have existed for over a year, but less than five years. The nominations for the Rising Stars are in the hands of an independent jury. Entry for the Rising Star election 2010 starts in April 2010.
The eligibility criteria are:

1. Your company is a technology company based on the following criteria:
   • The company develops proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the revenues. Using another company’s technology or making it uniquely available is disallowed.
   • The company manufactures a technology related product.
   • The company devotes significant attention to Research & Development.
2. The headquarters is established in the Benelux. Subsidiaries and divisions are barred from entry, unless they have some public ownership and are separately traded. If your headquarters is not established in the Benelux you can still enter the Technology Fast 500 election.
3. The company is older than one year and younger than five years.
4. Your company’s revenues were at least EUR 50,000 in 2010.
